Time: 7:30-9:30am: Fished Snohomish river under the overpass near the Monroe State Prison. Fishing for anything, but particularly for Trout and Pink Salmon. Tons of folks, 8-10 on north  side of river (4 fly fishing), about 20 on south side.  Saw 1 wader hook a 12-14″ trout on the fly. Too early in the Pinks run I guess…..they hadn’t reached this far yet.

Weather: 70 F
Water: Clear
Access: Great, crowded
Rig(best): Pink gear, float gear – 3 Rivers Marine
Notes: This is a great place to fish, close to Seattle and surrounds. Heard folks were killing it 1-2 weeks later in same spot.
